Friday 22nd – ‘Evening Session’ – 6pm – 11:30pm

Saturday 23rd – ‘Family Oktoberfest’ – 1pm – 4pm

Saturday 23rd ‘Evening Session’ – 6pm – 11:30pm

This October we will be bringing that special part of Munich back to the East Midlands at this year’s Oktoberfest beer festival.

We had to cancel our Oktoberfest 2020 Beer Festival because of restrictions, so to make up for lost time in 2021 we’ll be be transforming The Garage back into our Barvarian Beer Hall for two whole weekends!

With authentic and official Oktoberfest beer, authentic German food like bratwurst, currywurst and authentic German music by one of the UK’s top Oompah bands, expect to be immursed into a part of one of the best atmospheres of any venue in the England.

Flown in from Munich, Oktoberfest at The Garage secures 1 of the 6 licenced beers from the official Oktoberfest in Munich.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please rise for the Paulaner Oktoberfestbier.

This pilsner styled lager is made using the glacial waters found underneath Munich and makes up what is one of only six authorised beers sold at the official Oktoberfest in Germany. At 6% it is sure to get you in the stein clinking, bench swaying and song singing spirit that will make this night an unforgettable one for you and your mates.

And keeping up our support for local breweries, we’ll also have Thornbridge’s Lukas available. This crisp, traditional styled helles lager is modest in strength at 4.2%, but still provides a great way of joining in with the party.

We’re bringing back your favourite authentic German Oompah Band on both Friday and Saturday nights from 7:30pm.

This band of Bavarian brothers will be treating you to traditional German music as well as sing-along classics and games to play, keeping you entertained well into the night. With their unmistakable lederhosens, dirndls and questionably familiar eagles, these guys are regulars at some of the UK’s top venues, like the Alexandra Palace, London.

Working with our some of friends in the Street Food industry, we’ll be pulling in some of the very best in German cuisine.

The German Grill will be back serving up his stunning bratwurst, currywurst and flame cooked salmon. Ashley and the team have established themselves as Oktoberfest favourites at The Garage, and we’re thrilled to be able to have them back in 2021.

Although our Evening Sessions are 18+, we’ll be opening on Saturday 16th and Saturday 23rd between 1pm and 4pm for our Family Oktoberfest. Open to people of all ages, head down to grab yourself a stein of official Paulaner Oktoberfest beer, some wonderful food cooked by our festival chefs at The German Grill, live music by local band Midnight Special and finally free face painting for children (and adults!)
